Kenny Man, Managing Partner, 01Fintech Group

Kenny Man is currently the Managing Partner of 01Fintech Limited. He has more than 20 years of extensive management consulting, operational and investment experience from a wide range of business including fintech and e-commerce companies. He has successfully built the international investment team for Alibaba.com & Ant 2 consecutive times. Prior to founding 01Fintech, he was Ant Group’s Head of International Investment from 2015 to 2022 where he led investments into Paytm (India), Ascend Money (Thailand), Dana (Indonesia), GCash (Philippines), Alipay HK (Hong Kong), TNGd (Malaysia), GCash (Philippines), bKash (Bangladesh) amongst many others. He has also been in more than 10 companies' board of director previously and have participated the journey in turning many of these companies into Unicorn status.

Prior to Ant, Kenny is a Senior Investment Director at Vision Knight Capital, a USD 800mn asset under management private equity firm. He has led the 91.com project from deal execution, supporting the Company’s listing and finally sold the company to Baidu for USD 1.9 billion. He has also been leading the 500.com deal which supports the Company to list in the NYSE.

He joined Alibaba in 2006 and established and headed Alibaba’s Overseas Investment & Acquisition team in 2009 and has previously worked in Pepsi and McKinsey & Co. Kenny received an Executive MBA, Joint Degree program in the Kellogg School of Management, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and a Bachelor of Commerce degree in University of British Columbia. He has also been listed in the Global Corporate Venture Top 100 Powerlist in 2020 and 2021.

Sandeep Maheshwari, Senior Executive Vice President, 360 One Asset

Sandeep Maheshwari is Senior Executive Vice President and Fund Manager at 360 One Asset. He has more than 17 years of experience in the Investment landscape across Asset Management and Investment Banking. Sandeep is part of the Asset Management team and is the Fund Manager for the Secondaries and Fund of Funds strategies. He has invested in growth journeys of companies across various sectors including Consumer, Technology, Healthcare & Logistics. He has also invested in early and growth stage private market funds and serves on the advisory committee of these funds.

Prior to joining 360 One AMC, he was working with Edelweiss as Director in the Investment Banking team where he led more than 50 transactions across sectors and advised corporates on equity capital market deals. Earlier, he was associated with Axis Capital(erstwhile Enam Securities) in the Investment Banking team. He has an MBA specialising in Finance from Great Lakes Institute of Management.

Lorna has 28 years of experience across the United States, Europe and Asia in the corporate law area, including 24 years in the investment funds and private equity field. K.Y. Tang, Founding Chairman and Managing Partner, Affinity Equity Partners

Mr Tang is the Founding Chairman and Managing Partner of Affinity Equity Partners following its spin-off from UBS in 2004. Prior to that, he was the Chairman of UBS Capital Asia Pacific, the private equity arm of UBS since 1999. Before UBS Capital, he was the Chief Executive for Investment Banking, East Asia at Union Bank of Switzerland since 1995. Following the merger of Union Bank of Switzerland and Swiss Bank Corporation to form UBS, Mr Tang became Chief Executive, Hong Kong, of UBS Group and Asia Regional Head of Investment Banking for UBS Investment Bank. Prior to Union Bank of Switzerland, he served as President and CEO of Banque Indosuez’s Asian investment bank and Chairman of WI Carr (Far East) Limited, one of the leading stockbroking firms in Asia. Mr. Tang began his financial career with Chase Manhattan Bank. During his 17 years at Chase, he served in a number of senior roles in Malaysia and Hong Kong.

Queenie Ho, Partner, Affinity Equity Partners

Queenie Ho is a Partner and Head of Investor Relations at Affinity Equity Partners. Queenie joined Affinity in 2004. She is a Member of the Investment Committee, and Valuation and Portfolio Review Committee of Affinity. She currently serves on the board of directors of Plaza Premium Group. Before joining Affinity, Queenie was a management consultant at McKinsey & Company. Queenie holds a BSc in Economics with first-class honours from the London School of Economics, a MPhil in Finance with distinction from the University of Cambridge and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Wendy Zhu, Managing Director, Global Head of Primary Fund Investments, AlpInvest Partners

Wendy is a Partner, Managing Director and Global Head of AlpInvest Partners’ Primary Fund Investments team. She is also responsible for the Secondary and Portfolio Finance team in the Asia Pacific region and a member of the Operating Committee. She joined AlpInvest Partners in 2007 from Macquarie Funds Management, where she was Senior Vice President of Asia-Pacific regional private equity fund investments and co-investments. Previously, Wendy was a Director with Deutsche Bank Asset Management and an Associate Director at MetLife. Wendy received a BS in Business Administration and an MS in Accounting from the University of Southern California. She represents AlpInvest Partners on various Advisory Boards.

Shirley Ma, Senior Portfolio Manager, Private Equity, APG Asset Management Asia

Shirley Ma is a Senior Portfolio Manager in the Private Equity team of APG Asset Management, based in Hong Kong. She leads APG’s Private Equity efforts in Asia Pacific.

Prior to joining APG, Shirley was a Director of Private Equity Asia at MetLife. She was a member of the Alternative Investments Unit investment committee and represented MetLife on a number of fund advisory boards. Before relocating to Hong Kong in 2014, Shirley spent seven years in London with MetLife where she focused on sourcing, selection, implementation and monitoring for private equity fund investments in Asia and Europe. Prior to MetLife, Shirley was an auditor in PricewaterhouseCoopers in London and Ernst & Young in Hong Kong.

Shirley holds a master’s degree in International Banking from the University of Birmingham and a bachelor’s degree in Surveying from the University of Hong Kong. She is also a CFA charterholder.

Melissa Guzy, Co-Founder & Managing Partner, Arbor Ventures

Melissa C. Guzy is the Founder and Managing Partner of Arbor Ventures. Before the founding of Arbor Ventures, Melissa was a Managing Partner and a member of the Investment Committee at VantagePoint Capital Partners, where she invested in early stage technology companies in Asia, Europe and Silicon Valley. Her current board positions include EverCompliant, Fundbox, InCountry, Tabby, Planck Re and TrueAccord. Melissa was the investor board member of Paidy which was acquired by Paypal for $2.88 billion. Melissa also sits on the Board of Trustees of The Jackson Laboratory whose mission is to discover precise genomic solutions for disease and empower the global biomedical community in the shared quest to improve human health.

Melissa attended Wellesley College and earned a master’s degree in Finance from the University of Florida. She is the author of the paper “Venture Capital Returns and Public Market Performance”. Melissa is the Co-Chair of the Hong Kong Venture Capital Association (“HKVCA”) Venture Committee, a member of the Board of Directors of the HKVCA and the Singapore Venture Capital Associate and a former member to the Hong Kong SFC on Innovation. Additionally, she was a guest lecturer on the Venture Capital Industry at the University of Florida, Hong Kong University, Chinese University of Hong Kong and the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Melissa is also a Hopkins Fellow and participated in the Women’s Leadership Program at Harvard University. She has been recognized as a Top 100 Influencer in Fintech (NxtBnk), AlwaysOn Fintech Power Player, as well as one of the Top 13 Women in Asia of Tech Influencers.

Leon Meng, Founding Managing Partner & Chairman, Ascendent Capital Partners

Mr. Meng is the founding Managing Partner and Chairman of Ascendent Capital Partners, a private equity firm managing capital for global renowned institutional investors. Prior to Ascendent, Mr. Meng was a Managing Director of D. E. Shaw & Co., where he was a global partner and the leader of the firm’s Asian investment office. He also founded and was CEO of its highly successful private equity business in Greater China. Previously, Mr. Meng was a Managing Director and Co-head of China at JPMorgan, in charge of its Asia M&A and China investment banking activities. Mr. Meng began his career in the mid 1990s as an M&A specialist and was a Vice President at Credit Suisse First Boston based in New York.

Mr. Meng earned his MPPM with distinctions from the Yale School of Management, where he is a Donaldson Fellow and a Global Advisory Board member. He cofounded the nonprofit Yale University Emotional Intelligence China Fund and is a member of the Yale University Beijing Center Global Advisory Committee. Mr. Meng is an advisory board member of the Harvard Kennedy School Mossavar-Rahmani Center and a founding council member of the Future Forum, a nonprofit organization promoting science and technology. He is also a member of YPO Hong Kong Chapter.

Rebecca Xu, Co-Founder & Managing Director, Asia Alternatives

Rebecca Xu is a Co-Founder and Managing Director of Asia Alternatives. Ms. Xu splits her time between Asia Alternatives’ Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong offices. Ms. Xu is on the Firm’s Investment Committee and co-leads Asia Alternatives’ investments in growth and venture capital funds, focusing most of her time on Asia Alternatives’ China investments.

Prior to starting Asia Alternatives, Ms. Xu was a Senior Investment Officer at the Funds Group of the International Finance Corporation (“IFC”), the private sector investment arm of the World Bank Group. There, she had the primary responsibility of leading IFC’s fund investing and portfolio supervision in Asia for over six years. Previously, Ms. Xu also worked at McKinsey & Co, Inc. (Washington D.C.) and HSBC (Hong Kong).

Ms. Xu received an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the Foreign Affairs College in Beijing, China. Ms. Xu is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English.

Ms. Xu currently serves on the Advisory Boards for a number of Asia Alternatives’ China and India private equity funds. In addition, she serves as the Chairwoman of the Hong Kong Venture Capital and Private Equity Association (HKVCA) and on the Board of the Chun Hui Bo’ai Children’s Foundation. Ms. Xu is a member of the Hong Kong Academy of Finance.

Akihiko Yasuda, Managing Director, Head of Hong Kong Office, Asia Alternatives

Akihiko Yasuda is a Managing Director of Asia Alternatives. Mr. Yasuda leads and is based in Asia Alternatives’ Hong Kong office. Mr. Yasuda is on the Firm’s Investment Committee. Mr. Yasuda co-leads the Firm’s investments in Japan, Korea and Australia and co-leads Asia Alternatives’ investments in buyouts, secondaries and special situations.

Mr. Yasuda has over 30 years of professional experience in the areas of corporate finance, leveraged finance, real estate finance, fixed income investing and private equity investing. Prior to joining Asia Alternatives, Mr. Yasuda was most recently an Executive Director and Head of Private Equity at the Sumitomo Trust Finance (H.K.) Limited, an investment advisory arm of The Sumitomo Trust & Banking Co., Ltd. Mr. Yasuda managed the global private equity fund investment advisory group in Hong Kong for the bank’s pension clients as well as the parent bank proprietary investments.

From 2003-2007, Mr. Yasuda was Director at CITIC Capital Partners (“CITIC Capital”), a private equity arm of CITIC Capital Holdings Limited. At CITIC Capital, Mr. Yasuda worked in the Tokyo and Shanghai offices as one of the core founding members for the firm’s first private equity fund. He also served on the Board of Directors for Pokka Corporation, a leading Japanese beverage company and one of CITIC Capital’s portfolio companies.

Mr. Yasuda received an M.B.A. from Haas School of Business at University of California at Berkeley and holds a Bachelor in Economics from Kwansei Gakuin University, Japan. He is fluent in Japanese.

Mr. Yasuda currently sits on the Advisory Boards for several of Asia Alternatives’ Japanese, Korean, Australian, Pan Asia and Special Situations private equity funds. In addition, he serves as Co-Chair of the LP Committee and sits on the Education & Research Committee of the Hong Kong Venture Capital and Private Equity Association (HKVCA).

Celia Yan, Managing Director, Head of APAC Private Credit, BlackRock

Celia Yan, Managing Director, is the Head of APAC Private Credit within BlackRock Portfolio Management Group, and is the Lead Portfolio Manager of BlackRock’s APAC Private Credit funds and Chair of the Investment Committee. She is responsible for leading the platform, originating and executing investment opportunities, managing the investment process, and maintaining relationships with key deal sources and intermediaries across APAC. Celia serves on BlackRock's Global Private Debt Executive Committee and APAC Operating Committee (APOP).

Prior to joining BlackRock in 2020, Celia was the Head of Greater China with ADM Capital where she joined in 2011. As a senior private credit investor, she led the overall investment strategy and specialized in sourcing and executing private credit investments with Chinese angles, including inbound deals to mainland China and outbound deals across Asia and globally. Prior to that, Celia worked for National Australia Bank in Melbourne, where she advised on investment, performance and risk analysis solutions. Celia has a Bachelor of Commerce from The University of Melbourne (Australia), and a Master of Applied Econometrics from Monash University (Australia).

Christopher Wu, Chief Investment Officer, Blue Pool Capital

Mr. Christopher Wu is the Chief Investment Officer of Blue Pool Capital. Prior to joining Blue Pool, Mr. Wu worked at Morgan Stanley Private Equity Asia in Hong Kong and The Carlyle Group in New York where he focused on U.S. buyout investment opportunities in the telecommunications and media sectors. He started his career in New York with UBS. Mr. Wu received his BS from Carnegie Mellon University and MBA from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School.

Scolet Ma, Senior Investment Director, Cambridge Associates

Scolet Ma is a Senior Investment Director at Cambridge Associates.

Scolet evaluates private investment opportunities across Asia, with a focus on China. She is a member of the private equity/venture capital investment team. Originally based in the Beijing office, she relocated to Singapore in 2024.

Before joining Cambridge Associates in 2022, Scolet spent 13 years at China Investment Corporation (CIC). In the early years, she helped CIC build its initial public market portfolios. She then contributed to building CIC’s Private Equity Investment Platform, and she also played a major role in building CIC’s Global TMT Private Equity Portfolio through Fund Investments, Direct, and Co-Investments. Scolet started her career in investment banking with HSBC and UBS, where she worked in London, New York, and Hong Kong in their IBD and capital market divisions.

Scolet received her Msc in Accounting and Finance from London School of Economics, and her Bsc (First Class Honours) in Management Sciences from University of Warwick. She is fluent in Mandarin.

Eric Mason, Head of Private Equity, The Church Pension Fund

Eric Mason is a Managing Director of The Church Pension Fund. He joined the Church Pension Fund in 2009 as the head of the Fund’s new Asian office based in Hong Kong and has been based in Asia for almost 25 years. Mr. Mason and his team are responsible for the Fund’s investments in Asia across all asset classes with a focus on private equity, venture capital, hedge funds, credit and real estate. The team manages approximately $3.0 billion in investments in Asian based managers.

Prior to joining the Fund, Mr. Mason was the head for the Carlyle Group’s Asia Leverage Finance Fund and before that spent 13 years at JPMorgan most recently as Asian regional head of Leveraged Finance. In these roles, Mr. Mason has developed experience in structuring, underwriting and investing in private equity and credit transactions. Mr. Mason first came to Asia in 1990 to teach at the Foreign Affairs University in Beijing with Princeton-in-Asia, prior to that he worked in Washington DC for U.S. Senator Bill Bradley. Mr. Mason earned a Masters Degree in International Affairs from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) and a B.A. in International Relations and Economics from the University of Delaware. Mr. Mason speaks Mandarin Chinese.

The Church Pension Fund is a private tax exempt organization based in New York City with more than US$17 billion in assets under management. The Fund has been in continuous operation since 1917 and provides pension benefits to those serving the Episcopal Church. The Church is an extensive investor in alternative assets and has been investing with many of the global leaders in venture capital and private equity for decades.

Zhan Yang, Principal, Investment, Coller Capital

Zhan is an Investment Principal and General Manager of Coller’s Beijing office. He is responsible for origination and execution, and is based in the firm’s Hong Kong and Beijing offices.

Prior to joining Coller Capital in 2016, Zhan was a Director at BlackRock Private Equity Partners. Previously, he worked at Swiss Re Private Equity Partners and Adveq Management in Zurich, Beijing and Hong Kong.

Zhan has a BEng in Environmental Engineering from Tianjin University, an MSc in Environmental Science from Nanyang Technological University and an MBA from INSEAD. Zhan is a CFA Charterholder.

Raymond Chan, Managing Director, Head of APAC Credit, CPPIB

Raymond joined CPPIB in October 2019 and leads our Asia credit business. He is the chair of the APAC Credit Committee and a member of our Global Credit Committee. He is also the co-chair of the Credit Committee of The HKVCA. Prior to joining CPP Investments, he was a managing director at SSG Capital, responsible for special situations investments and secured lending in Greater China.

Previously, Raymond was the head of Greater China at Intermediate Capital Group, senior fund manager at RAB Capital and head of Asia Asset Management at D.B. Zwirn. He started his career with HSBC, departing as a team head of the Real Estate Sector.

Raymond holds a BSSc in Economics from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and an MBA from the EMBA program of the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Professional Background

Conrad is Deloitte China Private Equity Industry Leader. He is responsible for leading the overall solution and strategy for private equity client services and serving private equity clients more closely and effectively by integrating resources from various business lines.

Conrad possesses over two decades of professional experience in accounting and mergers and acquisitions (M&A) financial advisory services, having worked at Deloitte offices in New York, Hong Kong, Beijing, and Guangzhou.

Conrad has extensive experience in both cross-border and domestic transactions, serving private equity investors through M&A advisory, due diligence, valuation and transaction support across a diverse array of industries.

Conrad graduated from the University of Edinburgh with a Bachelor of Commerce degree with Honors and obtained his Master degree in Professional Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin. Conrad is a member of AICPA and a CFA charter holder.

Siddhartha Hari, Partner, Head, Elham Credit Partners

Mr. Hari has over 20 years of investing experience as a private lender in APAC. Prior to Elham Credit Partners, Mr. Hari was Head of Financing for North Asia & Pacific at Deutsche Bank, where he managed a multi-billion-dollar loan book. During his 13-year tenure at Deutsche Bank, across India, Singapore and Hong Kong, Mr. Hari held leadership roles in Origination, Structuring, Risk Management, and Portfolio Ownership. Prior to Deutsche Bank, Mr. Hari also worked in Barclays in a regional role for 6 years. Mr. Hari holds a B.E. in Electronics Engineering from Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology and an M.B.A. from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta.

Imran Jafar, Managing Partner and Co-founder, Gaja Capital

Imran Jafar is Managing Partner and Co-founder of Gaja Capital, an India-focused growth & buyout firm based in Mumbai. Founded in 2004, Gaja is a leading player in India’s private equity market with an exceptional track record and an AUM of over $1Bn.

Imran has 25 years of experience in Private Equity, Pharmaceuticals and Technology services. Prior to Gaja Capital, Imran worked in a variety of roles of increasing responsibility at Dr Reddy’s and Wipro Technologies. At Gaja Capital, Imran leads investments in the Software, Education, and Consumer clusters. He has been closely involved with Gaja Capital’s investments in Amber (Student accommodation marketplace), Signzy (SaaS platform for BFSI), LeadSquared (Sales automation SaaS platform), Educational initiatives (B2B Ed-Tech), Kangaroo kids (Pre-K and K-12), KOOH Sports (Performance Sports), Sportzvillage (Youth Sports), Eurokids (Pre-K and K-12), John Distilleries (AlcoBev), CL Educate (Supplemental Education) and Indus World Schools (K12).

He holds a master’s degree in software engineering from BITS-Pilani and Post Graduate Diploma in Management from IIM Bangalore.

Robert Chang, Founder and Managing Partner, GenBridge Capital

Robert has over 18 years of consumer-focused private equity experience. Prior to founding GenBridge Capital in 2016, he was the Head of Corporate Development at JD Group. Prior to that, he was a Principal of Capital Today, where he was involved in a wide variety of successful investments in e-commerce and technology, including JD.com and Ganji between 2006 and 2013.

Said Murad, Senior Partner, Global Ventures

Said Murad is a Senior Partner at Global Ventures. Prior to Global Ventures, Said was COO of vertical e-commerce platform, Jamalon, where he led the company’s operational efforts and played a pivotal role in helping the company raise its Series B. Said was also previously COO at EFS Facilities Services leading the security services business and EFS's activities in Jordan. Said also previously held the position of CEO of Groupon UAE, where he was responsible for managing and sustainably growing Groupon’s Local, Goods and Travel business lines. Before Groupon, Said worked with Deloitte's strategy consulting team, as well as with SHUAA Capital as an AVP in the CEO's Office, in addition to previously working in private equity at the firms Dubai International Capital (including Jordan Dubai Capital), and Abraaj Capital. Said holds an MBA from INSEAD, France.

Stephanie Hui, Head of Private and Growth Equity in Asia Pacific; Global Co-head & Co-CIO of Growth Equity, Goldman Sachs Asset Management

Stephanie is head of Private and Growth Equity in Asia Pacific, co-head of Asia Pacific Private Investing and global co-head and co-chief investment officer of Growth Equity within Goldman Sachs Asset Management.

Stephanie initially joined Goldman Sachs in 1995 as an analyst. She worked in the Principal Investment Area in New York and then transferred to Hong Kong in 1997. Stephanie left Goldman Sachs in 1998 to attend graduate school, rejoined the firm as an associate in 2000 and became an executive director in 2003. She was named managing director in 2006 and partner in 2010.

Stephanie is a member of the Global Board of Trustees of Asia Society, the Board of Governors of the China Venture Capital and Private Equity Association, the Board of Directors of Save the Children Hong Kong and Honorary Trustees of The Women’s Foundation.

Stephanie earned an AB in Biology, summa cum laude, from Harvard College in 1995 and an MBA from Harvard Business School in 2000.

Allen Zhu, Managing Partner, GSR Ventures

Allen Zhu is a Managing Partner with GSR Ventures, where he focuses on investments in early-stage companies in the internet, mobile and new media sectors. Mr. Zhu led the Series A investments in DiDi, Ele.me, Yingke, and Shanghai Great Wisdom. Prior to GSR Ventures, Mr. Zhu co-founded eBaoTech, and also worked for McKinsey Greater China, where he earned deep consulting and implementation experience. Mr. Zhu holds an MA degree in international economics from Fudan University, and a BS in telecom from Shanghai Jiaotong University.

William Lo, Principal, Hamilton Lane

William is a Principal on the Secondary Investment team based in the Hong Kong office, where he is responsible for sourcing, due diligence and execution of secondary investments.

Prior to joining Hamilton Lane in 2019, William was a Vice President with Roc Partners, an Asia-Pacific-focused alternative investment firm specializing in private equity, where he was responsible for secondary, co-investment and primary fund investments. Prior to Roc, he spent five years with TR Capital, an Asia private equity secondary investment firm, where he focused on secondary investments in Asia. William began his career as an Analyst in the Valuation & Modeling team of KPMG Corporate Finance.

William received a B.B.A. in Insurance, Financial and Actuarial Analysis from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst charterholder.

Eric Ng, CEO, Happiness Capital

Eric setup Happiness Capital, the global venture capital arm of the Lee Kum Kee Group with the mission to make the world a happier place. Happiness Capital is a Certified B Corp. He is also a member of the Policy Research Committee of the Financial Services Development Council HK. Prior to joining the Lee Kum Kee Group, Eric co-founded AGENDA which was acquired by WPP where he stayed as the Chief Client Officer (Asia Pacific) of WPP Wunderman. Eric’s first venture was an AI healthcare startup in the US. He was also Director Consultant of e-Business at Cap Gemini US. Eric was an AI research scientist and university lecturer in the UK in early 90s.

The Honourable Paul CHAN Mo-po, GBM, GBS, MH, JP, Financial Secretary of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region

Mr Chan is a Certified Public Accountant. He is a former President of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Before joining the Government, Mr Chan held a number of public service positions including member of the Legislative Council and Chairman of Legal Aid Services Council.

Mr Chan served as Secretary for Development from July 2012 to January 2017. He has been Financial Secretary since 2017.

Howard Lee, Deputy Chief Executive, Hong Kong Monetary Authority

Howard Lee is responsible for reserves management, financial infrastructure and fintech. He is also an Executive Director of the Hong Kong Mortgage Corporation Limited. He joined the HKMA in 2009 as a Division Head and has worked in various areas including monetary management, financial stability surveillance, corporate services and banking policy. He was appointed as a Deputy Chief Executive on 1 January 2018. Prior to joining the HKMA, Mr Lee worked in the Hong Kong SAR Government in areas relating to economic development, financial services and other public policies.

Bo Hu, Head of Private Credit, HSBC

Bo Hu is a Managing Director who leads the HSBC Private Credit Trading business in APAC. She oversees a business including par loan, special situations trading in bond and loan as well as primary/secondary private credit investment opportunities.

Bo has over a decade of experience in APAC credit market with roles spanning banking, structuring and trading. She started her career in Lehman Brothers IBD and later on joined JP Morgan and Credit Suisse in credit trading roles.

Bo graduated from Swarthmore College with dual BA/BS degree in Physics and Electrical Engineering. She also holds a Master degree from UC Berkeley.

Katrine Liu, Director, HQ Capital

Katrine Liu is a Director at HQ Capital, a leading global independent private equity manager that has committed over $12 billion to investments since 1989. Ms. Liu is based in Hong Kong and is responsible for sourcing, due diligence, and monitoring of private equity investments across Asia Pacific. Prior to joining HQ Capital, Ms. Liu was an Investment Director at CTF Education Group and previously an Investment Director at EQT Partners. She began her career at ABN AMRO Corporate Finance in Hong Kong.

Katrine earned her BBA (Professional Accountancy) from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, and is a qualified CPA awarded by the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Gregory Hara, Chief Executive, Managing Partner and Chairman of the Investment Committee, J-STAR CO., LTD

Experience
Gregory R. Hara oversees all investment and divestment decisions made at the Firm, as well as its strategic direction. Mr. Hara has been responsible for the investment activity of the Firm since 2006 when he, together with other founding Partners, formed J-STAR Co., Ltd. Before that, Mr. Hara was a Senior Manager of Tokyo based JAFCO Co., Ltd., the largest private equity investment firm. Before that, he was a Vice President of Lehman Brothers Inc, based in Tokyo, and prior to that a Vice President of The Long-Term Credit Bank of Japan, based in Tokyo, Osaka, Hiroshima, and Chicago.

Mr. Hara graduated from KEIO University in 1987 in Tokyo with an LL.B in Political Science. He is a C.P.A (Illinois, inactive) and a Chartered Member of the Securities Analysts Association of Japan.

Scott Chen, Managing Partner, L Catterton

Scott Chen is a managing partner at L Catterton, where he oversees the firm's Asia and RMB fund strategies.

Prior to joining L Catterton in 2020, Mr. Chen spent nearly 20 years at TPG investing across the broad consumer and healthcare landscape throughout Asia Pacific, most recently serving as a partner and managing director. During his second decade at TPG, he also led the firm’s investments in Greater China and drove the expansion of its China franchise. Before joining TPG, Mr. Chen worked in the Technology Mergers & Acquisitions Group of Lehman Brothers in New York.

Mr. Chen received a BS in Business Administration with honors from the University of Colorado.

Jeffrey Kwan, CIO, Lee Kum Kee Family Investment Group

Jeffrey Kwan is the Chief Investment Officer for the Lee Kum Kee Family Investment Group Limited. Prior to joining Lee Kum Kee, Jeff was with Credit Suisse Private Banking and was previously the CEO of a Single-Family Office in Hong Kong. Before joining the family office arena, Jeff was a hedge fund manager and proprietary trader running convertible bond arbitrage strategies in various institutions in New York and Hong Kong.

Jeff holds a Master of Laws degree from The University of Hong Kong and a Bachelor of Science degree from New York University. Jeff is a Singaporean and has lived in Hong Kong for over 20 years.

    John JongSeong Kim is a Director of Lexington Partners primarily engaged in the evaluation of secondary purchases of non-U.S. private equity and alternative investments.

    Prior to joining Lexington in 2023, John was a principal at Cota Capital, a venture capital firm in San Francisco, where he led the firm’s investments in healthcare. Prior to Cota Capital, John held senior investment positions at Glenview Capital in New York and Copernicus Capital in San Francisco, where he invested across various healthcare subsectors. During his tenure at Glenview Capital, John took a hiatus and served in the Republic of Korea Army. He began his career at Morgan Stanley where he was an investment banking analyst in Hong Kong and New York, focusing on cross-border mergers and acquisitions.

    Doug Coulter joined LGT Capital Partners in 2007 to lead its Asian private equity investment activities.     Henry Lin is the Founder and CEO of Linnovate Partners and RAISE Technologies, which he established in 2016 to meet the growing demand for an integrated suite of service and technology solutions in the alternative investment industry.

    Henry began his career in the UK as a software engineer, specializing in advanced technologies such as AR, IoT, Product Lifecycle Management, and Computer-Aided Design for industrial companies.     Kent Chen, CFA, is a Managing Director and head of Asia private equity at Neuberger Berman and a member of the Private Investment Portfolios and Co-Investments Investment Committees.     Before TCAP, he worked for TMHD, where he contributed to establishing global PE fund programs, developed the first mezzanine financing for Japan PE deals, and managed portfolios of strategic shareholdings as the insurance group.

    Danny Koh, Founder & CEO, Tower Capital Asia

    Danny is the founder and CEO of Tower Capital Asia. He has over 20 years of private equity experience in Southeast Asia. He began his private equity career with 3i where he invested in and exited several successful deals. More recently, he led the Southeast Asia private equity team at Actis before he founded Tower Capital Asia in 2016. Danny started his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

    Danny has a Bachelor of Accountancy from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. He is also a member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants.

    Frederic Azemard, Managing Partner, TR Capital

    Frederic Azemard is a Managing Partner at TR Capital. He joined TR Capital in 2012, focusing on investments in the region, and he serves as a board member for several of TR Capital’s investee companies.

    Mr. Azemard began his career at Bain & Co. in Los Angeles. In 2005, he joined Electra Partners, a private equity buyout in Europe, before becoming the CEO of Sunnco GC, a leading photovoltaic EPC and developer. Mr. Azemard is also a former Officer of the French Navy.

    Danny Lee is an experienced investor with over 25 years of global private equity experience spanning venture, growth and buyouts. He is currently managing VCA Capital Fund I, helping individuals and family offices manage their private equity portfolio globally through both fund and direct investments. Danny is also a senior advisor to Blue Pool Capital where he was a partner running global private equity since 2015. Before that he was a managing director at Bain Capital and Vice President at Investor AB, the largest industrial holding company in the Nordic region. He started his career with Lehman Brothers in NY. Danny has a BA in Economics from Columbia and is a CFA Charter holder.
