Asia Private Equity Forum 2023
Hong Kong, 13 January 2023 – The Asia Private Equity Forum (APEF) 2023 organized by the Hong Kong Venture Capital and Private Equity Association (HKVCA) came to a successful end today. APEF returned as a fully in-person event during this year’s annual International Financial Week. The event attracted close to 800 delegates and featured more than 65 GPs, LPs, and other industry professionals as speakers and panelists.
Held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, distinguished guests at this annual event included The Honourable Paul Mo-po Chan, GBM, GBS, MH, JP, Financial Secretary of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR); The Honourable Duncan Chiu, Legislative Council Member (Technology and Innovation sector) of HKSAR; Jean Eric Salata, Head of BPEA EQT, Chairperson of EQT Asia; and K.Y. Tang, Founding Chairman & Managing Partner of Affinity Equity Partners.

At the forum, leading industry practitioners addressed key opportunities and challenges facing investors in China, India, Southeast Asia, and North Asia in the context of the broadening and deepening of Asian private markets, as well as timely topics such as crypto investing, private equity real estate, ESG and regulatory matters.
